The stunner you can see in the pictures is Hyundai’s RN30 concept, which is a 375 bhp preview of a new performance-focused i30N Plus model. It will compete with the likes of the Ford Focus RS. The Hyundai RN30 concept was unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show along with the 2017 i20 WRC.
Hyundai Motorsport, Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center and the manufacturer’s Performance Development & High Performance Division collaborated to develop this awesome hatch concept, which boasts an aggressive, aerodynamic design with a sporty drive.
When the RN30 will hit production, it will be named i30N Plus, which is above the regular i30N.
The RN30 is powered by Hyundai’s turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, that has been specifically built for N production models. The engine churns out 375bhp and 333lb ft. Power is sent to an all-wheel drive system through a wet-type dual-clutch automatic transmission.
