Considered as one of the best tanks of the World War II because of its amazing protection and fire power, the German Panther tank was a counter to the Soviet T-34 and as a replacement for the Panzer III and Panzer IV.
Well, a 78-year-old collector belonging to Keil in Germany kept this military vehicle in his garage for decades. And now German Police has seized this World War II Tank and Cannon from the man because he was reportedly having an illegal possession of the same.
According to Kiel prosecutor Birgit Hess, the 45-ton Panther tank, flak cannon and multiple other World War II-era military weapons were suspected to be owned illegally.
Police is currently investigation the owner of these vehicles in suspicion of violating German weapons laws.
The defendant’s attorney, on the other hand, claims that the man has papers to prove the collection is legally owned.
