Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has rolled out a new scooter called the ACTIVA-I. Priced at Rs 44,200, the ACTIVA-I is the most affordable model in the segment from Honda.
The scooter is gearless and gets its power from a 110cc engine. It will be available for sale by the end of June.
HMSI President and CEO Keita Muramatsu said duing the launch of the new model:
“As a leader in the automatic scooters segment, Honda’s entry into the personal compact segment with ACTIVA-I is its next strategic step towards reinforcing its market leadership.”
HMSI currently offers three gearless scooter models Dio, Activa and Aviator. All of the three come equipped with 110 cc engines and are priced between Rs 44,718 and Rs 53,547.
