Citroen DS3 WRC has proved itself a successful after winning two world championships, though for private teams and racers, it is way too expensive. And to meet their requirement, Citroen has come up with the DS3 RRC (Regional Rally Car).
The car sits around a WRC machine and is capable of taking part in WRC-2, ERC, MERC and almost any national championship that takes place in Europe.
The car gets its power from a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine, which churns out 275 hp. It receives minor alteration as a new flywheel and a small booster flange has been added.
The car doesn’t have the 355 mm water-cooled braking system, instead it sports 350 mm ventilated disks and this has been done so as to bring the costs down.
According to Citroen, the car has low running and maintenance costs and is versatile. The vehicle is available for leasing.
