Volvo unveils V60 Racing wagon at 2012 São Paulo Auto ShowOctober 29, 2012 by: Rita Anand Bhatt
Volvo had teased the V60 Racing wagon few days ago and now finally it took the wraps off its racing machine at Brazil’s São Paulo Auto Show last week.
The vehicle is a motorsports-tuned version of the V60 wagon. It comes wrapped in a throwback paint scheme. In 1994, the Volvo 850 station wagon took part in the British Touring Car Championship, and the sole purpose of giving this color wrap to the V60 wagon is to to celebrate the former.
Now coming back to the V60 wagon, under the hood, there is a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder T5 which delivers 250 hp using a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The 18-inch wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires. According to Volvo, the vehicle is track-ready and they will soon release a video showing the V60 wagon in action.
