Historical armored vehicles head to auctionOctober 29, 2012 by: Rita Anand Bhatt
Debt-stricken Dean V. Kruse Foundation has been struggling and working hard to overcome the crises. And now it has found a solution to the problem as the organisation is auctioning off the vehicles from National Military History Center collection – not a handful of them but more than half of the total collection.
Vehicles that are heading to auction include a World War II-era armor, a 1941 Krupp Flak gun, a 1944 Steyr full-track and a 1943-44 Dragon Wagon Tank recovery vehicle.
The Dragon Wagon Tank’s work was to pull heavy hardware, and it has also been used to pull Saturn V rockets for NASA in the past.
At the auction, expect to see full and half-track military vehicles. You can check out the Auctions America website for more details, the link of which is provided in the source.
