Yamaha has refreshed the YZF series for 2013 and MotoGP series has provided some latest innovations to the new R1.
For 2013, the R1 will have a 7-level traction control system, the performance is increased, wheel spin has been reduced and the vehicle will also get the 3-stage D-Mode electronic throttle.
The YZF-R1 will also come equipped with the Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle technology, Yamaha’s ride-by-wire system and variable fuel intake.
This time, the bike will also have YHSJ (Yamaha Hydraulic Systems Japan), the latest fork system.
The wet weight of the beast is 454 lbs (205.6 kg). The 2013 R1 comes with a price tag of $14,290 (€10,890) and the options of colors are white-blue racing, Matte Grey or Rapid Red/ Raven.
