Toyota unveils Auris Estate at 2012 Paris Motor ShowSeptember 28, 2012 by: Deepak
After giving us a brief preview, the Toyota Auris has now been officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The car has specifically been designed to target the European buyers. The automaker also unveiled a set of pictures of the new Auris Touring Sports (estate) at the event, which opened for the press on September 27.
Toyota had proudly said earlier that, “determination to engineer cars that are more appealing and dynamically engaging to drive while building on its long-established reputation for quality, durability and reliability. Although it is small in size yet it has some big responsibilities.”
With sharpened back and front, stylish yet elegant tweaks along with some cutting schnoz, yet to debut Auris achieves the entire appealing quotient one looks forward to.
The brand new Auris has a drag of 0.28, the length has been increased by approximately 1.2 inches (30 millimeters) and the car has been lowered by 2.2 inches (55 millimeters). Toyota confirmed that its stance is lower than the regular mainstream C-segment offering cars.
The roofs of the car provides its passengers with the amazing ‘Skyview’ – all due to the panorama glass roof with a tailgate that has a wider opening.
The vehicle is expected to come with a price that starts at £14,495 ($24,300 / €18,895) in the UK.
