The prestigious Esquire Magazine has named the Range Rover Evoque as the 2012 SUV of the Year. The honour comes as part of the 2012 Esquire Car Awards. The magazine will feature the vehicle in its October issue.
“The Land Rover team is really pleased that the editors of Esquire magazine have named the Range Rover Evoque SUV of the Year,” said Kim McCullough, Brand Vice President, Land Rover North America.
“The various awards and honors our newest model has received this year exemplifies that the Range Rover Evoque has set a new benchmark for consumers who want a capable, modern compact SUV,” he added.
Another feather in the cap for the automaker is that Evoque has also been announced as the most fuel efficient Range Rover ever made.
Range Rover Evoque is awarded as the SUV of the year considering its unique and amazing style and design. Also, it is the only two-door SUV which offers ultimate luxury.
Each Range Rover Evoque sold in the US come equipped with 240 hp 2.0-liter turbo engine.
