Straight from the media presentation of Renault Scala in India, we are revealing the complete car, angle by angle along with the full interiors.
It has been redesigned by the Renault’s Mumbai design studio.
Scala has a fuel economy of 16.95 kmpl and a 1.5-liter petrol engine with the capability of producing 99PS. Although the engine power and capacity is new, the dashboard has remained unchanged. Furthermore Renualt has decided to sell the Scala petrol but with a n efficient CVT option. RxL and RxZ trims will be available in the diesel and RxL and RxE variants will be available in the Scala petrol.
Counting on its fuel economy, design, and brand image, the car is aiming high in India. And the first week of September will see its official launch.
Renault officials have been heard saying, “Even people who upgrade from low-end cars like the Alto and Santro, would like the Scala, even though the positioning is in the 7-10 lakh rupee range.”
