Last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show, BMW revealed their E-scooter. Almost a year later, during which BMW Motoradd has worked on the design and looks of the E-scooter, they have introduced an improved version which resembles more to the production model. Named C evolution, the E-scooter has been revealed along with the i concept cars during the 2012 London Olympics this year.
The motor of C evolution gives around 11 kW under normal conditions but for a short period of time, it can burst out 35kW. The E-scooter has a limited top speed of 75 miles and hour but that should not b a problem for the daily commuters in a city.
What it lacks in top speed, it makes up for it in lesser charging hours. The scooter can be charged from a wall socket directly and gets fully charged in under three hours which can last up to a good 62 miles. Can we have a game in Olympics featuring the E-scooter in a race? Maybe next time.
