Bike Review: 2012 BMW S1000RRJuly 28, 2012 by: Rituraj Mishra
2012 BMW S 1000 RR or just RR is out and has the features to impress you. Of course it is a revision over last year’s model, but haven’t you heard that revision’s always help score better. Indeed it is a nice bike with a better and fluent frame of aluminum and a highly innovative traction control system.
4-cylinder 4-stroke 999cc engine, this is how the bike can be termed as in a nutshell and now we will crack it open. With an electronic fuel injection system it is up and above with the best. 6-spped gearbox is present for the transmission while braking is taken care of by the twin disc in front and a single disc in front. So, while you can zip around with the 193 hp engine, it won’t take long to stop.
Dynamic traction control works in tandem with the transmission to get the bike smooth shift and awesome running. This is a racing bike but much lighter than anyone in its class, even your girlfriend can lift it, in case you fall off.
