Tata Safari converted into Land Rover Evoque by Big Daddy CustomsJuly 23, 2012 by: Rituraj Mishra
Do you know what a Moon Rover is? Well, it’s not something NASA made, but it is a little closer to home. India’s own Big Daddy Customs have made a Moon Rover, which is actually a Tata Safari SUV, but under very imperfect conditions you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
So when you look at the customized Safari from the front it appears to be the new Range Rover Evoque. Well what the car looks like and what it is actually is not very different. Evoque is a couple of inches wider and the Safari is almost a foot longer and a foot taller.
Now while we say one can easily catch the Safari in daylight, still the customs guys did a decent job. With the custom white paint job intact it is a good attempt. Now, the inside of the car remains exactly same but the body shell has been entirely changed.
Many would not think it to be a great custom job, but you know India has never really been faous for the custom thing and this looks like a good start.
