Video: Lexus challenges clients to manage their heart rate on board the new GS HybridJuly 22, 2012 by: Rituraj Mishra
You won’t get a million dollars to say what gets an audience excited and thrilled. The answer is simple anything contrasting to extremities gets people attracted. It’s basic human nature and Lexus looks to have studied quite a bit of it, at least their latest commercial says so. Imagine a teacher asking you to cheat in an exam, that’s how surprising Lexus has portrayed their GS Hybrid.
We already know that their 2013 GS 450 plays the 60 mph barrier under 5.6 seconds and the partnership between its 3.5 liter V6 and the hybrid powertrain yields a stunning 338 hp. But, their Italian campaign makes this fact known to people in a better and rather stylish way.
Starting the ad, they show you what Hybrid is perceived to be in the minds of the general public and as you think that’s it, jumps in the wilder side of the car. A crisp and clear though delivered successfully. To get things more realistic they even tried to see the effect of the car on the heart of people. Isn’t that too ambitious?
At the end your takeaway is a good executed video and maybe a desire to own the car.
