Review: 2012 Suzuki GSX-R600July 11, 2012 by: Nishant Panwar
For all the speed crazy and sportsbike lovers in town here comes one more gift from Suzuki – the 2012 Suzuki GSX-R600. A 599cc piece of metal that makes you says just one thing – “WOW”. As far as I am concerned, the moment I looked at this beast I fell in love with it, such a superb and stylish piece that no rider can resist putting a hand on it.
A powerful engine that runs on four cylinders and not only this, the Suzuki race team developed the transistorized ignition control circuit which helps maintain more precise ignition timing across the varying range of engine temperatures.
Apart from the looks this beast has got, the GSX-R600 also has new camshaft profiles that feature an aggressive valve lift curve and a 4-into-1 stainless-steel exhaust with titanium muffler. For all you speed freaks out there the torque is maximized and the throttle response has been improved especially in the low to mid point RPM range.
With 124.04 HP and a 6-speed gearbox this monster is set to roar all the other sportsbike out of its way.
Other specifications of the bike are:
Front suspension: Showa Big Piston front-Fork
Rear suspension: Link type, coil spring, oil damped
Front brakes: Double disc. Radial-mounted, four-piston Brembo monoblock calipers.
Rear brakes: Single disc. Bremo.
Frame type: Twin-spar aluminum cradle frame
Front tire dimensions: 120/70-ZR17
Rear tire dimensions: 180/55-ZR17
Factory warranty: 12 Month Limited Warranty
The Suzuki GSX R600 is available in – Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Splash White and Glass Sparkle Black out of which my personal favorite is Glass Splash White.
All of you who were thinking of buying a sportsbike, this seems the perfect choice for all of you because I am sure of one thing that it will definitely make up to your shortlist and maybe your garage too.
