Video: Nissan Leaf sets Guinness World Reverse Speed Record at GoodwoodJuly 3, 2012 by: Rituraj Mishra
Hi! Remember we told you about Nissan Leaf and Terry Grant trying to set up a new Guinness World Record by driving backwards at the Goodwoods Festival of Speed. The car had to cover the 1.6 km hill climb course and that had to be done in less than 2:03 minutes for having a new record.
Earlier thie weekend Nissan Leaf and Terry Grant have both become Guinness World Record Holders. Terry took just 1 minute and 57 seconds to get the course completed and he actually covered the full 1.856 km stretch of the road.
Nissan really hit the bull’s eye as a boring and meek EV became the highlight of the event and for some reasons Nissan Leaf is a more known car.
