Does speed increases the adrenaline rush in your body? Does the throttle of your bike make you skip a beat? If the answer is “Yes” to all these then BMW is all set to gift you the perfect present.
The F650GS and F800GS BMW motorbikes have been in the market since 2007 and are now ready to reload themselves for the 2013 year model. The names might confuse you but the motorbikes each comprises of 798cc parallel twin engine.
I guess BMW heard it right and that is why decided to increase the power from 71hp to 75hp, a 4hp rise, and in order to mark this increase and make the customers know of it they have renamed the F650GS to F700GS.
The entire series has undergone many additional changes to make the monster more eye-catchy, comfortable and powerful. With the addition of electronic suspension, stability control (ESA), new instrument cluster and switchgear the roadster will be the perfect short listing of any speed lover.
Not only this, but looks have also been taken care of. New paint finishes – Ostra Gray Metallic Matte and Glacier Silver Metallic for F700GS whereas Kalamata Metallic Matte, Cordoba Blue and Alpine White for F800GS.
A dirt bike look and that too a BMW make, what else can a biker ask for. Certainly on hitting the market and the roads these would surely make your shortlist. Capable machines with trust in its brand it’s hard for any biker to resist the temptation of laying a hand on them and after the new additions they have surely become irresistible.
Well we don’t know what would happen after the launch of F700GS and F800GS but one thing we are sure about that it’s surely going to give some stiff competition in the market and who knows it might turn the table too.
