Works driver Stefan Mücke will be behind the steering of the Aston Martin’s Vantage GTE at the Goodwoods Festival of Speed for the famous Hillclimb course. This car has recently had a podium finish at the 24 Hour of Le Mans so the soul of the car is in high spirits.
With its 4.5-litre V8 it already sounds a showstopper. About his debut Stefan said “I’m really looking forward to going to Goodwood for the first time. It’s an iconic event and it will be an honor to follow in the tyre tracks of so many famous and respected drivers.”
He continued as “I’m also really proud to be doing it in the Le Mans podium-placed Vantage GTE. It’s a fantastic racing car and I’m sure it will provide a great show for the fans! I’ve heard a lot about Goodwood, so I’m really happy and excited to be there this year”.
“This is a great opportunity for Aston Martin’s fans to see our new competition car up close and personal, and to watch it running at speed. The Festival attracts such a fantastic crowd of motoring and motorsport enthusiasts and each year it gets better and better, so we are very happy that our Vantage GTE can be part of it.” David King, Head of Motorsport at Aston Martin added.
The built on purpose GTE has been doing well for the team till now and with the Goodwoods at hand, GTE can be the leader of Aston Martin’s challenge in racing.
