Quick Review: 2012 Harley Davidson XR1200XJune 23, 2012 by: Rituraj Mishra
If you rode this monster to meet your girlfriend at night, you will end up getting ditched for scaring the hell out of her. No, seriously, covered in a silky dark color Harley-Davidson’s XR1200X motorbike is something one should be afraid of.
Inverted fork as the front suspension and a Twin Sided Swing Arm as the rear suspension provide the looks as well as a base for great performance and comfortable ride. Dual hydraulic disc brakes in front with a hydraulic disc brake at the rear get it to stop in time.
A V2 four stroke is responsible for the power issues and it does well with a torque of 100.33 Nm and a 5-speed gearbox complements it well. The bike also boasts of good fuel efficiency and emissions that can be statistically summarized as 5.35 litres/100 km and release of greenhouse gases to the tune of 124.1 CO2 g/km.
Weekend has just started so if you are looking to buy, go for a test ride. I bet you won’t be disappointed.
