Wrenchmonkees gives Honda CX500 a stylish and retro lookJune 18, 2012 by: Rituraj Mishra
Honda CB550 went to Copenhagen where it met with the custom bike shop Wrenchmonkees. They had a good time and as a goodbye gift the custom shop worked on the bike and provided it with a retro feel. They had to do some changes, like they had to remove the rear frame and build a custom exhaust system along with new fenders.
But these were not enough so they went on to provide their friend with a new lower tank, shortened forks, small single saddle and big fat firestones. The result is a transformation of the friendly looking Honda into a more aggressive one. Since the Honda got more curves, the team had to give it a new seat that would go with all the new and better things they did to the bike.
When the bike left Copenhagen, it had discovered a new itself. More stylish, more retro and more aggressive.
