Quick Review: 2012 Royal Enfield Bullet B5March 31, 2012 by: Rituraj Mishra
So here we are again with our short and descriptive sneak peek segment and this time around our victim will be the 2012 Royal Enfield Bullet B5. And here we go. First fact for you is that the inspiration for the Bullet B5 is the classic iron barrel Bullet 350.
But the 350 is just an inspiration, coz B5 has a Pushrod engine that accounts for 499cc and boasts of features like fuel injection, digital injection and electric starting.
A wide and flat power curve of the pushrod motor is responsible for the five speed transmission with wide ratios. It also has a manageable 412 pounds weight.
B5 comes with an updated suspension, improved handling and a higher cruising speed along with impressive 75 mpg fuel efficiency. It also confirms to the Euro II emission standards.
If I had $5495 right now I would be riding a B5, so I guess you should not doubt my decision and like this bike. After all it’s a Royal Enfield, what’s not to like. It’s the best thing on two wheels.
