2012 Triumph Bonneville T100 110th Anniversary Edition unveiledMarch 17, 2012 by: Rituraj Mishra
Happy Birthday Triumph! Congrats on being 110 years old. To celebrate getting older Triumph wanted to do something that would portray their history that traces back to 1902, and without doubt their choice was to unveil a special edition of the classy and artsy Bonneville T100.
Triumph has plans to bring out only 1000 of these special edition bikes, out of which 250 will be solely for US. The aluminum silver and khaki green paint takes it back to the way early Triumph motorcycles looked.
Chrome chain guard, cam cover and grab rails and a modern version of Triumph’s original crest on the side covers of the special edition bike. Only a few changes can be seen in the special edition as the major features remain same as that of the base T100 model. So the engine is still the 865 cc parallel Twin engine with dual overhead cams and the suspension is provided by the same 41 mm forks and chromed rear shocks.
The Bonneville special edition will come at a price of $10,499 and will in showrooms by May. It’s a Bonneville first of all and on that it is a special edition and to topple that there will be only 1000 of these. It’s worth every penny.
