Amidst all the talks about Ducati being on sale, comes a new refreshing piece of news. A diesel edition monster 1100 EVO has been launched, which is in view of their partnership. The new model is based on the original Monster 1100 EVO with a military theme developed by the Ducati Design Centre and Diesel founder Renzo Rosso.

“The Monster Diesel, and the collection dedicated to it, reflect the ‘coolness’ of this iconic motorcycle and our brand in general,” says Gabriele Del Torchio, president of Ducati Motor Holding. “The collaboration with Diesel, underlines our focus on the style and trends that shape the market and I am delighted to associate our world with that of fashion and, in particular, with Diesel. Both brands globally represent technology and innovation in pure Italian style.”
This power meets style collaboration took place in 2011 with Diesel sponsoring Ducati’s MotoGP team. The launch of Diesel edition Monster 1100 EVO coincides with Ducati-branded clothing collection which will be available in Diesel stores and Ducati dealerships.
“When we had the opportunity to work with Ducati, with last year’s MotoGP sponsorship, we discovered a whole world of shared values and common roots,” says Stefano Rosso, project leader and son of Renzo Rosso. “That brought us the desire to create something new together, and we made it in the only way we know: taking the great know-how of both companies and mixing it with passion and creativity. The results are unique products, characterised by a great mix of design and technology.”
While the base Monster 1100 EVO was for $11,995, the stylized diesel edition can be grabbed for $13,795. Seriously, style comes at a price.
