With the name Softail Slim, this Harley-Davidson will hardly look soft to you. Sporting a black and compact it is the synonym to cool and composed. It is the next big thing from Harley, free from unnecessary chrome or any other luxury. With 16 –inch spoked wheels at front and rear it is the flat and trimmed version of dream ride.
Looks and Engine
Though cool and calm by the looks, performance is high by all standards. To enhance the look, the chassis provides a rigid frame with the mounted shock absorbers hidden beneath the engine. Engine, wheels, air filters, headlights, triple tree cover everything is covered in deep black.
Wide handlebars contribute an additional cross member and the front wheel is guided by a massive fork. Extra deep seat and arranged solo slim fit with Rear Fender fits perfectly with the optically scaled lines. Covers have been removed where not needed, for instance ignition coils and struts and this helps in keeping the engine more at centre.
Power and Torque
The Twin Cam 103B has a balance shaft to dampen vibration and is studying for a torque of 132 Nm at 3,250 U/min-1, and a power of 58 kW (79 hp) at 5,250 U/min-1.
Brake and tail lights have been integrated into rear turn signals. The amazing and classy Cat eye dash panel and the classic Half-moon footboards keep history etched into Softail. A very well kept bike Harley, it is definitely a hit among the folks. With the number of views and interest increasing among the people about Softail, Harley can expect to get some good price for this one even if it is a used one.
